Madeline Gooley, Editor-in-Chief – Social Media Editor
Hi, my name is Maddy Gooley and I am a Senior at Grand Ledge High School. I am 17 years old and this is my second year on newspaper. My position is co Editor-in-Chief and I share that position with my lovely friend Isabella. Last year I feel like I grew as a write tremendously and I hope that over then next year I continue to grow and improve. I specialized in writing news stories and I am also on the Comet Cast!
More about me! I am very involved with the clubs at my school; I’m president of the Women’s Equality Club, Treasurer of the GLHS Academic Quizbowl Club, and also on the board of Mental Health Matters Club and Eco Club. I really enjoy being active in the community and volunteering to help the community grow. On a more personal note, I love movies (I’m also in film club) and I love music. My favorite movie is the Breakfast Club and my favorite band is Green Day, but music taste expands over so many genres and I like so much. I love anthropology and hope to study it next year at MSU and I love Spanish and hope to study abroad.
