Olivia Rodrigo released her single ‘Vampire’ on June 30, 2023. Fans took this as a snippet of her long and awaited album Guts. On July 15, 2023, Vampire hit number one on the Billboard charts. Some students liked it. “I loved it,” Emmet Roman said. Other students had a different opinion, “I didn’t really like it,” Taylor Javoroski said.

  About a month after Vampire came out, Rodrigo released her album ‘GUTS’ on Sept. 8, 2023. Overall, the feedback on the album was great.

“They are very easy to relate to… ” Marisa Klein said. Fans were anxiously waiting for what Olivia would do next. Ten days after the album was released, Olivia Rodrigo’s album hit number one on the Billboard charts.

“It wasn’t really surprising (about Rodrigo’s album going number one) she’s amazing,” Elizabeth McFarland said. Fans were anticipating news about a tour from Rodrigo. Fortunately for them, they didn’t have to wait long. 

On Sept. 13, 2023, she announced to her fans she was going on the GUTS World Tour. Tickets were selling out like crazy.

 “When GUTS dropped I told myself I would literally do anything to get my hands on those tickets,” Emily Wise said.

Tickets sold out fast. Many fans said they were very excited about the tour, though some had to sit this one out. A little bit after the dates sold out, Rodrigo posted 18 new tour dates in New York, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Seattle, and Francisco. Everyone is excited to see what she is going to do next.
