For the Senior Class of 2025, a new event is going to start off the year,  senior parking spots. The parking spot  includes your own personal spot that you reserve for the year. When it’s time to claim a spot, these spots will be signed up for on the last week of school. Reserving your spot gives seniors a designated parking spot for all year as well as the opportunity to paint it.

Additionally June 11, 2024 students will have to turn in $50 and then a Conduct Form to room 228 to be eligible to pick a spot.

All parking spot design ideas must be submitted and approved by the Student Council.

Student Council members are behind this new event for seniors, junior Ellery Curtis shares what she knows.

“It’s a good fundraiser for prom, and we’ve seen it done at other schools like okemos.”

This is a fun event for seniors but the profits will also go too more things and activities during the school year.

Schools all over the country take part in painting your senior spot, and now the Class Of 25 at Grand Ledge  will be a part of that.
