Hey Comets, I’m Abbie Perri and I will be writing the Pop Culture Column for every Comets’ Tale Publication .This publication we will be talking about recent and upcoming tours, especially ones near our area.
Sabrina Carpenter recently came to Detroit on Sept. 26 and her shows have been really good so far. She performs her chart topping new album “Short n’ Sweet” with a couple of her more popular songs from her other albums like “Feather” and “Nonsense”.
“The show was great, she looked amazing and never fail to impress me,” senior Izo Kelly says.
I’ve personally really liked her show and especially her outfits. She changes through the night to many different outfits and they all are just so perfect. There have been some comments on her outfits and especially her hair, right now there is a whole debate about whether she is wearing a wig or extensions, either way her hair looks amazing.
Another big one that happened was Billie Eilish: HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour that happened on Oct. 7. Multiple people went to this one as well as the Sabrina Carpenter one too.
Former One Direction Band member Niall Horan also came to Grand Rapids, Michigan on his The Show: Live on Tour.
“It was amazing, the way he always connects with fans make it so much more special,” senior Aleigh Lasky says. His concerts always consist of many interactions with the fans.
Look out for more singers coming to Detroit in the next year like Tori Kelly, COIN, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake And many more. Concerts have been bigger than ever. See you in the next publication.
