Michigan’s current Senator, Debbie Stabenow, has served four terms but does not wish to continue on with a fifth term. Stabenow is currently endorsing the Democratic candidate, Elissa Slotkin.
Slotkin has been a State Representative for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District since 2019. Slotkins main goal of running is fighting to defend and expand Michigan’s middle class. She also has goals of lowering costs of health care and keeping children safe from dangers they might come across.
The Republican representative is Mike Rogers. Roger’s was the State Representative for Michigan’s 8th congressional district from 2001-2015. Rogers main goal for running is to help families save and prepare their children for education. He also wants to restore the economy that Michigan is in and help to create a growing economy.
