Throughout Michigan, coffee shops are very relevant and will pop up on every street. The main known coffee shops are Starbucks, Dunkin’, and Biggby. These companies attract many Grand Ledge High School (GLHS) students daily. 

  “My favorite place to go is to Biggby, I go to Biggby for lunch all of the time, it’s so close that it’s easy for me to go to,” junior Morgan O’Meara said.  

  Many students have been talking about a new coffee shop opening up here in Lansing, 7 Brew. 7 Brew has four locations in Michigan, including Muskegon, Holland, two in Traverse City and now adding a fifth location in Lansing. 7 Brew is very popular in other states that border Michigan which is where students have become familiar with 7 Brew. 

  “I’ve never tried 7 Brew but I’ve heard it from many people. When I travel for vacation, I see it as I drive through states and I’ve always wanted to try it,” O’Meara said.  

  7 Brew offers many different kinds of drinks, they also offer drinks that might not be available at a typical coffee shop. They have coffee, which they named “The 7 Originals.” These are their many coffees as well as their most ordered coffees. They also have the classics, 7 Energy and 7 Fizz. The classics are just more types of coffee that are available. The 7 Energy is their energy drink infused with a flavor of your choosing. Like the 7 Energy drinks, the 7 Fizzes are with sparkling water instead of their energy drinks. 

  Unlike normal coffee shops, 7 Brew allows you to customize your drink from the very beginning. You start with a base and then you add your flavor and say how you would like to drink it. 

  “I really enjoy 7 Brew because of all their options for non-coffee drinkers like me. My favorite drink is the Sunrise energy chiller,” senior Adyson Fulton said.
