Every year since 1959, Grand Ledge High School has held an annual Prom for all upperclassmen. This year, Prom was under the stars on May 8, 2026. Eagle Eye Golf course hosted not only girls in beautiful dresses but also boys in handsome suits, all of whom danced until sundown. The bar was open with different sodas, with Shirley Temples becoming the most popular beverage of the night. Prom was a big last hurrah for the Seniors, and a welcoming entrance for the Juniors. While Prom can be a highlight for all high school students’ lives, it can also serve as another reminder that good times can come to an end.
