Being a part of The Comets’ Tale for the past 2 years has been so impactful.
I’ve learned my passion for journalism, which I plan to pursue in the future.
I’ve developed my dedication to writing, and I see myself continuing my
growth over the years. Last year, I started as a Staff Writer, and this year I took on the role of Copy Editor. The community of Grand Ledge is astonishing, and it has been an experience to learn about all the different groups of people at
the high school and the Grand Ledge community. I would first like to thank
my classmates; without them, newspaper would not be as enjoyable as it was. They have helped me grow as a journalist, and I cannot wait to discover new communities moving forward as a journalist. Another person I would like
to thank is Mrs. Scott. The Comets’ Tale would not be the same without her.
She helped us through all our struggles and dealt with all of us. It has been an
honor to be a part of The Comets’ Tale and to provide news to the high school
community. I am sad to say goodbye to this class, but I am grateful for the
countless memories this class has given me. I’m happy that I decided to apply
for this class as a sophomore because I’ve learned how great it is to be a part of the newspaper - Caitlynn McKelvey
