Whether you love him or hate him, you can’t deny President Donald Trump’s digital footprint on Twitter is quite the interesting one. From political violent threats to dating advice, or even an AI generated picture depicting him as Jesus (or so called doctor), Trump hits his post button on Twitter no matter what. With his approval ratings at an all time low, it’s a perfect time to retrace his twitter steps and highlight the craziest and idiodic tweets.
“After friday’s twilight release, I hope Robert Pattinson will not be seen in public with Kristen–she will cheat on him again!”
For years, 2012-2014, Trump incessantly advised Robert Pattinson to not take Kristen Stewart back, for weeks. When Pattinson was asked about this thread years later he found it amusing as well as confusing as to why Trump was so invested in his love life. Kristen Stewart later fired back at Trump for his tweets about her breakup, responding with strong language and dismissing his involvement in her personal matters. Trump was so personally invested. Trump even invited Robert Pattinson to the 2012 Miss Universe pageant, showing a surprisingly intense involvement in their personal lives through social media.
“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
During Trump’s first term, he addressed North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, publicly on twitter. He seems to brag about how his Nuclear Button (capitalizing button for some odd reason) is larger than Kim’s, while also making sure to say his regime is depleted and starved. This tweet was posted during a time of a heated relationship between North Korea and America as well.
“Happy #CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”
A throwback to end the list, this is a post from Trump’s twitter from 2016 on May the 5th, Cinco De Mayo, a celebration of Mexico’s unlikely military success in the year 1862. He’s posing with a taco bowl made from the Grill in his very own tower in New York. When he posted this he was facing a lot of backlash from the public about his accused racism and so forth.
“Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure,it’s not your fault”
Posted three years before his first term, during Obama’s presidency, was a tweet of Trump boasting about his self proclaimed and not proven very high I.Q.. He, of course, continues to call all others stupid and insecure because they’re not as smart as him, but he consoles them by stating it’s not their fault. This tweet came during a time when Trump seemed to always be in the media spotlight and was often responding to critics and detractors who questioned his intelligence and business success.
