My name is Aubrey Davis, and I’m a junior at Grand Ledge High School. I participate in choir, NHS, Key Club, and debate club, and this is my first year on the newspaper staff. Reading and writing have interested me since I was young. I also enjoy writing my own stories. I denied enjoying reading as I grew, but this changed during middle school when I was required to borrow a book from the library. I finished it in just two days, staying up late because I couldn’t put it down. I’ve always been fascinated by graphic design. Photography and photo editing are also things I’ve adored doing. All these interests have naturally led me to join the newspaper staff. I’m excited to meet and interview new students and hear their stories.interviewing students whom I’ve never talked to before can show how diverse everyone’s experience may be. I hope to continue to grow as a writer and photographer and become more confident when talking with new people.
