The long awaited eyeshadow palette by Shane Dawson and Jefree Star has arrived. The palette was released on November 1, 2019 with eighteen different shades that range from a bright neon yellow to a more subdued brown that can help achieve any look. The palette launched in Morphe stores across America, and could also be found on websites such as Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Beautylish

Sophomore Jenna Downs, uses a few colors from the Conspiracy palette. The colors she used were Trisha, Pig-ment, What’s The Tea, Ranch, Diet Cola, and Food Videos.

While using the palette, Downs aimed for a more colorful look. Once finished using the eyeshadow palette, Downs was happy with the result.

“I thought that the palette was amazing with the color scheme” Downs continued, “it had a lot of pigment in each shade”. Though she thoroughly enjoyed the palette and what it had to offer, she only had one complaint,

“You should use a concealer base to get the full effect of the lighter shades.” Downs said.

For a more everyday look, some easy-to-use shades are ‘Diet Root Beer’, ‘Just A Theory’, and ‘Spiraling’, which can be used to achieve the look above. Other shades such as ‘Tanacon’, ‘Ranch’, ‘Diet Cola’, and ‘Not A Fact’ can also be used to achieve a more natural color scheme.

Natural looks don’t always exclude colorful shades, however, and senior Lola Mull proves this.

“I used ‘Tanacon’ as a base for the lid, and then ‘Diet Root Beer’ for the crease,” Mull continued, “I then used ‘My Rides Here’ for an eyeliner look, then ‘My Pills’ and ‘Pig-Ment’ just to lighten it up and make it look more pink.” Mull did not stop there.

“I used ‘Just a Theory’ and ‘Sleep Paralysis’ on the inner corner of my eye and spread it to my brow and lower water line.” Mull said. The palette has a unique color scheme that everyone can have fun with and look amazing in. Whether someone enjoys a colorful look or a more natural look, by using this palette the final look will always be flawless.
